Alicia Machado, the beauty queen, actress and model, was born as Yoseph Alicia Machado Fajardo on the 6th of December, 1976 in Maracay, Venezuela. Alicia has a diverse background. Her father and mother are both of Cuban origin. She's been an important player in television, film, and beauty pageants all her existence. Alicia Machado rose to fame as she won the title of Miss Venezuela at age 19 representing Yaracuy. A year later she was the fourth Venezuelan woman to be crowned Miss Universe 1996.
