Alinity Divine
Alinity was mentioned in a complaint suing Twitch. Erik Estavillo is a California Twitch user who has filed the lawsuit against Twitch seeking damages of $25 million. The user claimed the platform exposed him explicit sexually explicit material from female streamers. Based on court papers obtained through Dexerto the plaintiff who was previously sued by Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment, presented the formal complaint to the court on June 15 seeking a suit, and Twitch itself was issued an official summons in June 19. Estavillo is, as stated in the Santa Clara Superior Court of California complaint filed the suit, has a myriad of medical ailments that make the user to solely rely on the Internet for his entertainment. Additionally, he suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder and a sexual addiction. Based on the lawsuit, Twitch makes these issues worse. The complaint continued to identify a variety of female streamers that it says "continues to provide viewers with a wide range of content that they simply want to watch users playing video games on Twitch, but instead get confronted by sexually addictive materials and material on a continuous and regular basis daily." Alinity was not listed. In its request for relief, it is seeking to permanently block all streamers that have broken the Twitch TOS. A total of $25 million is demanded, "to be divided between the plaintiff and all other Twitch Prime Turbo Subscribers" and the rest going to charity.
