Lars joined the military after his time in school. He completed his basic military service for nine months in Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards), which is an infantry regiment of the Danish army's Danish army. After finishing his military service he decided that it wasn't the way he wanted to go and started seeking out something else. He decided to study biology. Anette, who had been employed by the military for over a year, returned from a juggler's course to show him how well she could juggle after just three days. Lars was happy about this and wanted to test it. So , he dropped out of college and enrolled to the juggler's school. He also took classes in fire breathing and the art of juggling. After graduation from high school He traveled throughout Europe with two friends, which included performances on the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. He was introduced to a children's circus two more years after. He also learned pantomime for children and street theater.
