Kolber, a native of Pennsylvania, received her master's in the University of Miami. Kolber began her career working in New York City as a CBS Sports video coordinator. She won an award for a regional Sports Emmy during her tenure at WTVJ-TV located in Miami. She also served as a reporter at WPLG-TV Miami, and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. In 1993, she was selected as the anchor of ESPN2's first year of debut. She remained at ESPN2 till Fox Sports hired her. In 1999, she returned to ESPN and serves as the host for "Monday Night Countdown".
