Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay fighter. She currently competes within the UFC Flyweight division. She is older than her fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her combat sporting career with a Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko won the tournament and beat Suzane Miller in the finals via unanimous decision. Antonina was able to continue her professional career after winning a silver and bronze medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, as well as a Gold medal in 2011 along with the title of year-end 2016 IFMA amateur Muay thai world champion. Antonia started her professional career in 2003 and was the winner of an award at the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012. She also won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 and the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina was most recently seen battling Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by unanimous vote. Antonina Schevchenko broke her professional MMA records in 2002, when she fought Anara Bazanova at KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She took the fight with a TKO after round 2 and the following two matches were staged during the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko took a hiatus to pursue boxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui in Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko beat Anissa in an unanimous decision. She was able to defeat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. The promotion ended in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina made use of her formidable fighting abilities and striking skills to TKO Nievera in the clinch by knees on the body.
