Bashar Barakah (July 19, 1999 - Feb. 19 20th, 2020), professionally popularly known as Pop Smoke was an American musician. He was signed to Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. Working together with UK drill producer 808Melo Axl Beats and Yoz Beatz Pop Smoke rose to popularity for leading in the Brooklyn drill sound. Welcome to the Party the top single from his debut Mixtape Meet the Woo was released in the month of July, 2019. The remixes for Welcome to the Party were done in August by American rapper Nicki Minaj and British artist Skepta. Pop Smoke's most popular song Welcome to the Party was released in April 2019. It is the first single off his mixtape debut Meet the Woo. The track was remixed twice, one with Nicki Minaj and the other featuring Skepta in August of 2019. The track was praised for its usage of UK drill production that was later heard throughout his discography. It is because of his frequent collaborations and 808Melo (a British drill production company). Mpr Flexin is another single which is popular. The duo also collaborated on several other smash singles after the huge commercial success in Welcome to the Party. These include: War with Lil Tjay, Lil Tjay, and 100k in a coupe, featuring Calboy. Gatti was the collaboration he had together with JackBoys, Travis Scott in December 2019and it is the album's last track.
